Community Guidelines
Koufonisia Meet is designed for genuine connections and new friendships on the island. These clear rules help keep the community welcoming and safe.
1. Be genuinely you
Use an authentic profile and your own photos. Impersonation, fake profiles and deliberately misleading information are not allowed.
2. Respect comes first
Harassment, intimidation, threats, humiliation, hate speech and persistent contact after someone has shown they are not interested are prohibited.
3. Connect without pressure
Meet is for social connection, meeting people and making friends. Never pressure someone for personal information, photos, a phone number, a meeting or intimacy of any kind.
4. Friend groups are welcome
You can say that you would like your groups of friends to meet. Do not upload friends’ personal information or photos without permission, or present another person as available without their consent.
5. Meet safely
For a first meeting, choose a public place, tell someone you trust and keep control of your own transport. If something feels uncomfortable, leave.
6. Protect other people’s privacy
Do not publish addresses, phone numbers, private messages, screenshots or other personal data belonging to another user without a lawful basis or permission.
7. No scams, spam or commercial exploitation
Scams, bulk unsolicited messages, recruiting users for financial gain, misleading offers and using the community as an advertising list are prohibited.
8. Prohibited content
Illegal, threatening or violent content, non-consensual sexual content, exploitation of minors and content promoting serious harm to others are not permitted.
9. A block means stop
If someone blocks you, do not attempt to bypass the block through a new account, another profile or a third person.
10. Report genuine problems
Use reporting and blocking tools for serious violations. False or retaliatory reports intended to harm another user are not acceptable.
11. Breaking the rules
Depending on severity and history, account functionality may be restricted or access to Koufonisia Meet may be suspended or terminated.
12. Keep Meet a good place
We are all sharing the same small island. Behave online the way you would want someone to behave when you meet face to face.
